Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based labor and delivery care to mothers and newborns
• Monitor fetal heart tracings and intervene appropriately using AWHONN best practices
• Perform neonatal resuscitation and follow NRP protocols when required
• Deliver thorough postpartum assessments and assist with vaginal examinations as indicated
• Chart accurately and efficiently in EPIC to support continuity of care
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and the multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes
• Educate and support patients and families through labor, delivery, and early postpartum period

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license (Nursys verification)
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• AWHONN or intermediate fetal heart monitoring certification preferred
• Mother and baby clinical experience required; postpartum and vaginal exam experience a plus
• Familiarity with EPIC charting preferred
• BSN degree preferred

• BLS and ACLS emergency response
