Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms to keep patients safe and stable
• Provide focused post-procedure care for TAVR, cardiac catheterizations, ablations, Watchman procedures, and pacemaker/CardioMEMS patients
• Administer and titrate cardiac drips with vigilance and clinical judgment
• Respond rapidly to STEMI and other acute cardiac events as part of the code/rapid response team
• Document assessments, interventions and care plans accurately in Allscripts
• Collaborate with charge nurse, PCTs and monitor techs to deliver seamless, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) experience — specialty in telemetry/cardiac nursing preferred
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience (explicitly requested)
• Certifications: BLS required
• Proven experience caring for post-TAVR, post-cardiac cath, ablation, Watchman and pacemaker patients
• Comfortable managing cardiac drips and recognizing STEMI/cardiac emergencies
• Experience documenting in Allscripts (or similar EMR)

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Post-procedure cardiac nursing (TAVR, cath, ablation, Watchman, pacemakers, CardioMEMS)
• STEMI recognition and acute cardiac intervention workflows
• Cardiac drip management and titration
• Familiarity with Allscripts documentation
• Ability to work within a 1:4 patient ratio on days and nights
