Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-acuity nursing care to ICU patients with professionalism and compassion
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status and responses to treatment
- Administer medications and critical interventions following ACLS/BLS protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Complete required competency exams, specialty checklists, and training promptly
- Maintain accurate licensure and credentialing through Nursys and verification processes
- Adhere to infection control practices and facility vaccination requirements
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse licensure (ability to verify via Nursys)
- ICU nursing experience (PRN or staff experience preferred)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- DCI/BVP certification as listed by the facility
- Ability to complete Prime Core Competencies, Prime Specialty Exam, and Prime Skills Checklist
- Successful completion of required health screenings: drug screen, TB, immunizations, fit test, etc.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of ICU standards of care and critical care monitoring
- Familiarity with ACLS and BLS emergency protocols
- Comfort with credentialing and license verification workflows
- Ability to complete facility-specific competency exams and training
- Understanding of infection prevention and immunization compliance
