Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and daily support to patients
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding)
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately and consistently
• Support patient mobility and fall-prevention measures
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection-control practices
• Communicate observations and changes in patient condition to the care team
• Document care in a timely, accurate manner to support continuity
• Respect patient dignity, privacy, and cultural preferences at all times

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Reliable transportation and flexibility for per-diem night shifts
• Ability to pass background checks and any required health screenings
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient-centered attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, infection control
• Patient handling and safe transfer techniques
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
• Accurate documentation and attention to detail
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Team collaboration with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary staff
