Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive adult transthoracic (TTE) and transesophageal (TEE) echocardiography studies with accuracy and compassion
• Execute specialized procedures including dobutamine stress echos, contrast echocardiograms and bubble studies
• Operate and optimize imaging on GE E95 equipment and ensure image quality for clinical decision-making
• Document studies thoroughly in Meditech/Centricity and communicate critical findings to the care team promptly
• Provide reliable on-call coverage when scheduled and collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuous patient care
• Work independently while applying clinical judgment and critical thinking to complex cases

Qualifications

• ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RCS certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience performing adult echocardiography and advanced echo procedures
• Proven proficiency with TTE, TEE, dobutamine stress testing, contrast studies and bubble studies
• Comfortable using Meditech and Centricity for documentation
• Strong communication, organizational and critical thinking skills; able to work independently
• Willingness to participate in weekend and weekday on-call rotations

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in adult echocardiography modalities (TTE and TEE)
• Skilled in dobutamine stress echocardiography, contrast imaging and bubble studies
• Experience using GE E95 imaging systems
• Proficient with Meditech and Centricity electronic documentation systems
• Excellent communication and patient interaction abilities
• Strong organizational skills and independent decision-making
• Comfort with call coverage and flexible scheduling
