Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care for post-TAVR, post-cardiac catheterization, ablation, Watchman and pacemaker patients
• Monitor and manage cardiac drips and acute cardiac conditions, escalating concerns promptly
• Use telemetry monitoring to assess cardiac rhythms and intervene according to protocols
• Document care accurately in Allscripts and communicate clear handoffs to the care team
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses and techs to deliver patient-centered care and excellent outcomes
• Support patient experience initiatives by educating patients and families about procedures and recovery
• Maintain unit safety and contribute to a positive, team-focused work environment

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (state-specific or compact as required)
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, with telemetry or progressive cardiac care experience preferred
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Strong experience with post-TAVR, ablation, cardiac catheterization, pacemaker and Watchman care
• Comfortable managing cardiac drips and STEMI interventions
• Familiarity with Allscripts or similar electronic documentation systems

Education

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• Active RN license

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Post-procedure care for TAVR, cath lab patients, ablations and device implants
• Management of cardiac drips and acute cardiac events (STEMI familiarity)
• Pacemaker and CardioMEMS device monitoring and troubleshooting
• Clear clinical documentation and electronic charting (Allscripts)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient education skills
