Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered Med Surg nursing care to adult patients
• Perform thorough assessments and monitor patient status, escalating concerns promptly
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document them in the chart
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, effective care plans
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Provide patient and family education to support recovery and safe discharge

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) credential — you are a licensed RN
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience as indicated in the posting
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, with stamina for a fast-paced unit
• Certifications required by facility (for example, BLS/CPR as applicable) — facility will confirm
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills and teamwork mindset

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid Med Surg clinical knowledge including assessment and medication administration
• Proven ability with IV therapy, patient monitoring and post-op care
• Comfortable with EHR documentation and accurate charting practices
• Excellent time management, prioritization and multitasking on a busy unit
• Collaborative communication with physicians, therapists and support staff
