Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, EP and IR procedures with precision and calm under pressure
• Prepare and maintain cath lab equipment and sterile fields so each case runs smoothly
• Monitor patients pre-, intra- and post-procedure, communicating changes promptly to the team
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in Meditech and MacLab
• Collaborate with nurses, techs and physicians to optimize patient flow and safety
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond as needed to urgent cases

Qualifications

• Current CVL Tech certification (must have)
• ACLS and BLS required
• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience (Cath experience required; EP experience preferred)
• Comfortable with on-call requirements and flexible scheduling
• Familiarity with Meditech and MacLab documentation systems
• Certifications such as CVT, RCIS, or RT are a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cardiac cath lab procedures and catheterization workflows
• Experience with cath lab equipment setup, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Competence in sterile technique and procedural safety
• Proficient documentation skills in Meditech and MacLab
• Excellent communication and teamwork in high-acuity environments
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced unit and handle emergent situations
