Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality critical care to ICU patients during night shifts
Monitor and interpret patient status using critical care assessments and telemetry
Administer medications and therapies safely and accurately
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
Perform timely documentation and handoffs to ensure continuity of care
Participate in required competency exams and specialty skills checks to maintain clinical excellence

Qualifications

Current RN licensure (license verification via Nursys required)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, DCI/BVP (all required)
ICU clinical experience and comfort working in a high-acuity environment
Completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist, and Prime Specialty Exam as required
Up-to-date immunizations and health screenings as listed (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, TB test, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, physical/health statement, drug screen, fit test)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills for critically ill patients
Familiarity with ICU equipment and monitoring (ventilators, hemodynamic monitors, infusion pumps)
Effective communication and teamwork during night shift operations
Accurate medication administration and documentation practices
Ability to complete required competency testing and follow institutional policies
