Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain specialized lab analyzers such as Cobas, Sysmex, and Stago with precision
• Perform blood bank procedures, urinalysis, and limited microbiology testing accurately and timely
• Follow quality control, documentation, and laboratory safety procedures to ensure reliable results
• Troubleshoot instrument issues and coordinate with service as needed to minimize downtime
• Communicate clear, concise results and collaborate with clinical teams during night coverage
• Contribute to a positive team culture by supporting colleagues and helping train where needed

Qualifications

• Current MLT license required (state licensure must be active)
• National MLT license required
• Experience with Cobas, Sysmex, Stago or similar laboratory analyzers
• Proven skills in Blood Bank and Urinalysis testing; some Microbiology experience a plus
• Comfortable working independently on night shift and being a reliable team player
• Ability to follow strict quality control, safety, and documentation protocols

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on operation of clinical laboratory instruments (Cobas, Sysmex, Stago)
• Blood Bank testing and protocols
• Urinalysis procedures and interpretation
• Foundational microbiology techniques (limited scope as noted)
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and quality control
• Night-shift resilience, independent decision-making, and teamwork
