Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images that support accurate clinical decisions
• Prepare and position patients safely and compassionately for CT procedures
• Follow radiation safety protocols and ensure imaging study quality
• Verify patient identity and procedure details, maintaining accurate documentation
• Assist with contrast administration and monitor patients as required
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical teams to deliver efficient patient care
• Complete required competency exams and specialty checklists to maintain clinical excellence

Qualifications

• Current CT Technologist credential or equivalent experience as a CT Technologist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• DCI/BVP certification
• License/Certificate Verification as required by facility and state
• Ability to pass Prime drug screening (minimum 10-panel) and other required health checks
• Completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist, and Prime Specialty Exam
• Up-to-date immunizations and fit test compliance as listed in health requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging principles and patient positioning
• Familiarity with radiation safety and infection control practices
• Comfortable with CT workflow, documentation, and PACS/DICOM concepts
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and follow protocols
• Adaptability to per-diem assignments and varying clinical environments
