Shift Type: Tuesday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (Night)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and assist patients with activities of daily living
Take and document vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Assist with safe patient transfers, positioning, and mobility
Support nursing staff by following care plans and communicating patient needs
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
Observe patients for changes in condition and escalate concerns to the RN

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Prior experience in long-term care, acute care, or similar settings preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to work overnight shifts and handle physical demands of patient care
Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented with strong communication skills

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in patient hygiene, feeding, and ADL assistance
Skilled in taking and recording vital signs and observing patient status
Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
Good documentation habits and basic comfort with electronic charting
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with nursing staff
