Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and assist patients with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs, observing and reporting changes promptly
Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and fall prevention measures
Support bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting with dignity and respect
Maintain accurate patient documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
Follow infection control protocols and facility policies to ensure patient safety
Help create a comforting environment for patients and their families

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Current basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable with overnight/night shift responsibilities
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Previous experience in a clinical or long-term care setting is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and hands-on assistance
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Infection prevention and control practices
Basic charting and documentation skills
Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
