Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in inpatient interventional radiology
• Prepare patients for procedures and manage procedural sedation with attention to safety
• Monitor patients through recovery, assessing vitals and responding to changes promptly
• Document care and communicate clearly using the EPIC EMR system
• Collaborate with radiology physicians, techs, and the broader care team to ensure smooth procedural flow
• Float to other radiology nursing areas as needed to support patient care and unit needs
• Maintain required certifications and adhere to California Board of Registered Nursing standards

Qualifications

• Current California RN license (required)
• Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology nursing experience
• Experience using EPIC EMR (required)
• Proven experience with procedural sedation and patient recovery
• Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential and strong clinical judgment

Knowledge & Skills

• Interventional Radiology nursing best practices
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR for documentation and care coordination
• Procedural sedation techniques and patient monitoring
• Post-procedure patient recovery and assessment
• ACLS, PALS, and CPR emergency response skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt when floating to other areas
