Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including hygiene, mobility assistance, and comfort measures
• Assist nursing staff with vital signs, ADLs, and timely documentation
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the care team promptly and clearly
• Support safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics to prevent injury
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients and families
• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to support individualized care plans

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of California (required)
• Active basic life support (BLS) CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Prior experience as a CNA is a plus; new grads with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Dependable, compassionate, and able to work independently on overnight shifts

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting patients with activities of daily living and mobility
• Strong observational skills and ability to report changes accurately
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Good teamwork and communication with nurses and allied health staff
• Infection control practices and safe patient handling techniques
