Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, direct patient care and ensure patient comfort
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Monitor and record vital signs, report changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other team members to deliver coordinated care
• Support patient and family education with clear, empathetic communication
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain best practices
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and adhere to facility policies
• Escalate clinical concerns promptly to ensure patient safety

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license (Georgia preferred or eligible for Georgia licensure)
• BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Comfortable with basic clinical skills: medication administration, vitals, wound care documentation
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Ability to pass required background checks and meet facility health requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent
• High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and patient monitoring
• Medication administration and safe documentation
• Basic wound care and infection control practices
• Electronic medical record (EMR) familiarity and accurate charting
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
• Patient-centered care and clear, compassionate communication
