Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
• Assess patient status, monitor vital signs, and report clinical changes promptly
• Administer medications accurately and document all treatments thoroughly
• Coordinate care and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team
• Perform safe and precise nursing procedures while following facility protocols
• Deliver clear, supportive patient and family education during transitions of care
• Complete timely, accurate charting and efficient handoffs at shift change

Qualifications

• Current, active Alabama RN or LPN license (depending on the role applied for)
• Clinical nursing experience in acute or long-term care preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must be obtainable upon hire
• Ability to work overnight shifts and manage time during extended hours
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN or RN program as applicable)
• Relevant state licensure required prior to start date

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in medication administration and accurate clinical documentation
• Proficient at patient assessment, monitoring, and early recognition of changes
• Comfortable working with interdisciplinary teams and following care plans
• Familiarity with infection control principles and safe patient handling
• Ability to use electronic medical records and complete timely charting
