Shift Type: Primary 10-hour day shift, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (day). Rotating on-call coverage for evenings, nights, weekends and holidays; call is 7 days per month including one weekend per month.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor patients closely throughout Cath Lab procedures, ensuring safety and timely interventions
• Assist cardiologists, interventional radiologists and surgeons during left/right heart cath, PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy and atherectomy
• Operate and optimize imaging systems such as Siemens Artis Zee C-arms, IVUS and OCT during procedures
• Support peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, including carotid work and pacemaker insertions
• Rotate through pre- and post-procedure areas to help with patient prep, transport and recovery
• Manage device setup and troubleshooting for Philips Laser System, McKesson CPACS/Cardiology and Hemodynamic systems
• Participate in call rotation, covering evenings, nights, weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Contribute to a culture of safety and quality by maintaining accurate documentation and following protocols

Qualifications

• Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist experience (RCIS certification listed as a primary skill)
• Proven experience with left and right heart catheterizations, PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy and atherectomy
• Experience with peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures (carotid stenting, AV graft interventions, pacemaker insertion)
• Familiarity with Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT and Siemens Artis Zee C-arm
• Experience using McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology and McKesson Hemodynamic systems
• Comfort and availability for rotating call coverage, including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays

Education

• RCIS certification or Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist credential preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient monitoring and hemodynamic assessment skills in the Cath Lab environment
• Hands-on expertise with interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures
• Competence in radiology/Cath Lab imaging systems and intravascular imaging (IVUS, OCT)
• Ability to assist across a range of procedures: TAVR (preferred), carotid stenting, kyphoplasty and more
• Team-oriented communication, with the ability to support pre/post-op workflows and patient transport
