Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and promptly identify changes in cardiac rhythm to ensure patient safety
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and communicate findings clearly to providers and the care team
• Administer medications and treatments safely, using sound knowledge of basic pharmacology
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document observations accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
• Complete required competency exams and specialty skills checklists to maintain clinical readiness
• Participate in unit processes that improve patient outcomes and workflow efficiency

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with Nursys verification (or equivalent verification as required)
• Telemetry experience and strong rhythm interpretation skills
• Current BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications
• CPI and DCI/BVP certifications as listed in the job requirements
• Successful completion of Prime Core Competencies, Prime Skills Checklist, and relevant specialty exams
• Clear drug screening (minimum 10-panel), up-to-date immunizations, TB testing and fit test as required

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Basic pharmacology knowledge for safe medication administration
• Strong assessment and clinical documentation skills
• Ability to work rotating shifts across day and night assignments
• Competence with unit-based specialty exams and skills checklists
