Location: Tarzana, CA

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $44 - $30.8 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and blood draws accurately and compassionately as part of clinical duties
Handle front office and PSR duties including patient check-in and managing the flow of the clinic
Room and prepare patients for provider exams and assist with outpatient clinical tasks
Maintain clear, accurate patient records and support documentation needs
Communicate professionally with patients and the care team to provide smooth patient experiences

Qualifications

Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP accredited program (required)
BLS certification from AHA or ARC only (required)
High School diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years experience in an outpatient clinic setting; Urology experience preferred
Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture
Front office experience and ability to perform both MA and PSR duties
Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
Available to work the posted schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Education

Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP accredited program
High School Diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Phlebotomy and blood/lab draw skills
Front office patient service and registration (PSR) skills
Clinical assisting in an outpatient setting
BLS life support knowledge
Ability to multitask and support both clinical and administrative needs
