Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans and diagnostic X-rays across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment for procedures as required by the department
• Provide imaging support in the OR, orthopedic clinics, oncology, and neurosurgery cases
• Deliver excellent patient positioning, radiation safety, and image quality on every study
• Work independently with confidence while collaborating with radiologists and clinical teams
• Manage documentation, imaging workflow, and PACS uploads to maintain timely care
• Adapt to a sometimes-hectic environment while maintaining professionalism and calm

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• CT Certification required
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Experience with fluoroscopy, OR imaging, orthopedics, CT, and general X-ray
• Comfortable working autonomously and across multiple clinics and a 78-bed hospital
• Willingness to provide required documentation: skills sheet, resume, AHA BLS, ARRT certifications, and proof of flu vaccine

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT protocols and cross-sectional imaging
• Skilled in radiographic and fluoroscopic techniques and safety
• Familiarity with imaging for oncology, neurosurgery, and large orthopedic practices
• Patient positioning, contrast administration basics, and radiation safety practices
• Comfortable with PACS, imaging workflow, and clinical communication
• Ability to prioritize studies and remain calm in a busy clinical environment
