Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions to promote mobility, reduce pain, and improve function
• Document patient progress and outcomes clearly and timely in the electronic record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize discharge planning
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
• Adapt treatment approaches based on patient response and evolving goals

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in California, or eligible to obtain California licensure
• Active BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain prior to start
• Clinical experience providing hands-on physical therapy care (travel experience a plus)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to complete necessary credentialing and onboarding promptly for a travel assignment

Education

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or Master's-level training preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques, and mobility training
• Comfortable using modalities and adaptive equipment as appropriate
• Proficient documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health records
• Solid clinical reasoning and patient education abilities
• Time management and organizational skills to manage caseload efficiently
