Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and perform a variety of CT procedures with attention to patient safety
- Provide compassionate patient care before, during, and after imaging exams
- Operate CT equipment accurately and follow established imaging protocols
- Collaborate and communicate clearly with medical staff regarding patient imaging needs
- Ensure proper patient positioning and verify imaging quality to support diagnosis
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and documentation in accordance with facility standards
- Adhere to infection control practices and safety procedures to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Current Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist license (required)
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) (required)
- Current BLS certification (required)
- One (1) year of CT experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with medical staff and patients
- Ability to perform physical demands of the role, including lifting and positioning patients
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in CT procedures and protocols
- Solid knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support accurate imaging
- Patient care skills with an emphasis on safety and comfort
- Good manual dexterity, observation, and communication abilities
- Ability to follow imaging standards and work collaboratively in a clinical team
