Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care to ICU patients during 12-hour night shifts
• Assess, monitor and document patient status using critical care best practices
• Administer medications and advanced interventions per facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and execute patient care plans
• Float to Med/Surg when needed and safely manage transitions between units
• Maintain up-to-date certifications and accurate licensure documentation at all times
• Communicate clearly with patients’ families and the care team to support positive outcomes

Qualifications

• Active RN license for New Hampshire (Compact allowed) — license verification required
• Minimum 2 years current ICU / Critical Care experience (required)
• Active American Heart Association certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (required)
• One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment (required)
• Profile with complete work history and ICU/Critical Care skills checklist (required)
• Permanent address included in submission and must be 50+ miles from facility (NO LOCALS)
• Previous travel nurse experience highly preferred
• BSN highly preferred

Education

• BSN preferred
• Active RN license (New Hampshire) required

Knowledge & Skills

• ICU and critical care assessment and interventions
• Med/Surg care and willingness to float between ICU and Med/Surg
• Comfort and competence on 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Proficiency maintaining required AHA certifications and documentation
• Strong clinical communication and teamwork in a small-hospital environment
• Ability to follow license verification and submission requirements accurately
