Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 4-hour SPT shifts (Total Hours: 4) — exact start/end times and days to be confirmed; orientation included

Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients’ mobility, strength, and functional needs and create individualized treatment plans
Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions efficiently during 4-hour SPT shifts
Document patient evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge planning accurately
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, families, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes
Educate patients and caregivers on home programs, safety, and recovery strategies

Qualifications

Current Physical Therapist license in Washington or eligible to obtain state licensure
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program (Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or required per facility policy
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-centered approach
Experience in inpatient, outpatient, or pediatric settings is a plus

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master’s in Physical Therapy accepted

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in therapeutic exercise prescription and manual therapy techniques
Experience with gait training, transfers, and assistive device instruction
Proficient in patient assessment, goal setting, and clinical documentation
Ability to prioritize care and work efficiently within shorter shift windows
