Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: SPT, 4-hour shifts (specific start/end times and days to be confirmed)

Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients to determine physical therapy needs and set meaningful goals
Develop individualized treatment plans that promote recovery and independence
Implement therapeutic interventions and adjust plans based on progress
Document treatments accurately and communicate updates with the care team
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and caregivers to ensure coordinated care
Educate patients and families on home programs and injury prevention
Participate in orientation activities and contribute to a positive clinic culture

Qualifications

Active Washington Physical Therapist license or ability to obtain prior to start
Current CPR/BLS certification required or obtain upon hire
Comfortable with patient assessment, treatment planning, and documentation
Able to pass background and credentialing checks
Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in outpatient, inpatient, or rehab settings is a plus

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred or Master's in Physical Therapy
Bachelor's degree in related field acceptable for some roles with appropriate certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, and gait training
Familiarity with common modalities and assistive device training
Strong clinical reasoning and patient education abilities
Proficient documentation skills and basic EMR navigation
Excellent communication and collaboration across interdisciplinary teams
