Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and support activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility with dignity and respect
Take and record vital signs, report changes to nursing staff, and document care accurately
Support safe transfers and positioning to promote comfort and prevent injury
Collaborate with the care team to follow care plans and contribute to positive outcomes
Engage residents with friendly conversation and meaningful interactions to boost wellbeing

Qualifications

Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable providing personal care and working directly with residents
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care and infection control practices
Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Good interpersonal skills and resident-centered care approach
Basic documentation and charting skills
Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
