Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
• Assist with safe transfers, repositioning, and mobility support
• Support mealtime assistance and maintain a clean, comfortable environment
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
• Build trusting relationships with residents and their families, honoring dignity and preferences

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing helpful but new grads are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of ADLs, infection control, and safe patient handling
• Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Ability to follow care plans and document observations clearly
• Compassionate interpersonal skills and patience with older adults
• Basic time management and teamwork skills in a clinical setting
