Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight hours
• Perform thorough assessments and document changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
• Monitor and manage patients’ clinical needs, escalating concerns appropriately
• Support smooth shift handoffs with clear, concise communication and documentation
• Maintain infection control standards and promote a safe environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license valid in New Hampshire
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred for RNs
• Clinical experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings preferred
• Comfortable and reliable working overnight shifts (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Proof of immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• LPN: Vocational diploma or certificate as required for LPN licensure
• RN: Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (as applicable for RN licensure)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in medication administration and wound care best practices
• Proficient with charting and electronic medical record documentation
• Solid patient assessment and clinical judgment abilities
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safety protocols
• Good time management, prioritization, and delegation skills
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, and clinical staff
