Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality bedside care to residents and patients
Administer medications and treatments safely and document all care accurately
Monitor and record vital signs, report changes in condition promptly
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
Assist with activities of daily living and promote patient comfort and dignity
Keep thorough and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility policy

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing (New Mexico preferred)
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain promptly
Ability to work the scheduled long day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) on Mon/Wed/Fri
Local candidates only (LOCAL ONLY) — reliable transportation and community knowledge a plus
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude; prior long-shift experience preferred

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program or equivalent certification

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of medication administration and infection control practices
Skilled in basic patient assessment and monitoring of vital signs
Competent documentation and charting skills
Ability to prioritize care, manage time during extended shifts, and multitask effectively
Professional, compassionate patient interaction and family communication
