Bill Rate: $55.51-$79.14/hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and best practices
Provide skilled physical therapy across inpatient, swing bed, outpatient, and skilled nursing settings
Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress, and discharge summaries accurately in the EMR
Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, patients, and families to coordinate care
Use clinical reasoning to adjust treatments and ensure safe, high-quality outcomes
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient-centered care planning

Qualifications

Current, active California Physical Therapy License in good standing
Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
1+ year experience in acute care, swing bed/skilled nursing, or outpatient settings
Proficiency with EMR systems and basic computer skills
Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, communication, and problem-solving abilities

Education

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Physical therapy evaluation and treatment planning
Inpatient, outpatient, swing bed, and skilled nursing care workflows
Accurate clinical documentation and EMR proficiency
Clinical reasoning and patient-centered decision making
Ability to manage diverse patient populations and complex diagnoses
Attention to detail and commitment to ongoing professional development

Benefits

Full-time sign-on bonus: $10,000
Part-time sign-on bonus: $5,000
