Shift Type: Monday, Thursday, Friday, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and patient observations accurately
Assist nursing team with treatments, transfers, and safe patient positioning
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Document care clearly and communicate changes in patient condition to nursing staff
Support resident dignity, comfort, and emotional needs with kindness and respect

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — required
Active or eligible for CNA certification in New Mexico
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable working overnight 12-hour shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
Ability to pass background check and any facility-required screenings
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
Basic clinical skills: vital signs, measurements, and accurate charting
Understanding of infection prevention and safety protocols
Good interpersonal skills with residents, families, and clinical teams
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
Familiarity with electronic or paper charting systems (facility training provided)
