Physical Therapist - Acute Inpatient
Location: Bakersfield, California
Start Date: 05-25-2026
End Date: 08-24-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Mostly Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with occasional one day a week 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM, plus one weekend every third weekend
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients in Acute Inpatient setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine patient needs
Qualifications
- Current CA PT license
- BLS certification
- Acute Inpatient PT experience required
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of physical therapy principles
Education
- Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Acute Inpatient PT
- General Medical/Deconditioned patients
- TKA, THA, Spinal surgery, General ortho patients, CVA
