Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, Monday-Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating shifts

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a MedSurg/Tele unit
Work with patients who have mental illness and secondary psychiatric diagnoses
Utilize electronic medical records (Cerner) for patient care
Participate in SIMs Lab for skills training and competency assessment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care

Qualifications

Current RN licensure
BLS and ACLS certifications
Experience in MedSurg/Tele unit and/or psychiatric nursing
Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

MedSurg and Telelemetry skills
Psychiatric nursing experience
Electronic medical records (Cerner)
Dysrhythmia exam and interpretation
Sterile field maintenance and infection control
