Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions to support patient independence and functional goals
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient-centered care
• Document assessment findings, progress notes, and discharge plans accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families on strategies to improve daily living, safety, and home carryover
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Current California Occupational Therapy license required
• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program
• NBCOT certification preferred
• Active BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills
• Comfortable working in an inpatient/rehab setting and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program (Bachelor's, Master's, or OTD)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in occupational therapy assessment and treatment planning
• Knowledge of ADL/IADL training, mobility, and adaptive equipment
• Proficient with clinical documentation and electronic medical records
• Strong communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to prioritize caseloads and manage time effectively
• Familiarity with safety, infection control, and rehab best practices
