Location: Gettysburg, PA
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Days vary (Per diem), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening / Second Shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist nursing staff with patient transfers, bathing, grooming, and feeding
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and charting
- Support a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and patients
- Communicate respectfully with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Valid CNA credential recognized in Pennsylvania
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable assisting with patient mobility and personal care
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to pass required health screenings and background checks
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completed accredited CNA training program and state certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and infection control
- Skill in safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Familiarity with patient documentation and charting best practices
- Ability to follow care plans and report observations accurately
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
