Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policy
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately and timely
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient care plans
• Monitor patient status and escalate changes in condition promptly
• Support a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — New Mexico (or compact where applicable)
• Comfortable working the scheduled day shifts: Monday–Wednesday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Minimum clinical experience providing direct patient care in a long-term care or similar setting (preferred)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements and background checks promptly
• Professional, dependable, and a team player who communicates clearly

Education

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and documentation skills
• Medication administration and understanding of common LPN duties
• Familiarity with electronic medical records or willingness to learn
• Good clinical judgment and ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• Basic infection control and safety practices
