Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Evening shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Support residents with bathing, dressing, mobility and toileting needs
- Measure, record and report vital signs and changes in patient condition
- Communicate clearly with nursing staff and families about resident needs
- Document care accurately and timely in the resident chart
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
- Assist with meal service and feeding as needed to promote nutrition
- Promote dignity and independence while providing attentive, respectful care
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification (required) — current and valid in Pennsylvania preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic patient care
- Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented with strong communication skills
- Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or similar settings is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Resident-centered care and safe patient handling
- Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
- Infection control and safe hygiene practices
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy unit
