Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
• Perform timely assessments, monitor patient status, and report changes
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Support admissions, discharges, and transfers during your shift
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and complete shift reports
• Assist with wound care, IV therapy, and delegated clinical tasks as appropriate

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license, or eligible to obtain licensure in New Mexico
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred for some RN roles
• Experience working night shifts or acute care settings preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work Mon-Wed overnight schedule reliably

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program
• Relevant certifications as required by licensure and facility

• Patient assessment and monitoring

• Wound care and basic procedures
• Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
• Time management and prioritization during busy overnight hours
• Clear communication with patients, families, and care teams
