Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and routine nursing tasks consistent with LPN scope
• Administer medications, monitor patients, and document observations accurately
• Perform wound care, vitals assessment, and timely reporting of clinical changes
• Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and the care team to deliver coordinated patient care
• Maintain clear, professional documentation in the medical record and during handoffs
• Support patients and families with education, comfort measures, and respectful communication

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (active and in good standing)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Ability to work 12+ hour day shifts and reliably cover Sunday, Friday, Saturday
• Current immunizations and any facility-specific health requirements
• Strong clinical judgment, reliable attendance, and a team-first attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing/vocational nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Fundamentals of wound care and basic patient assessments
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and timely charting
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced rehab/acute care setting
• Clear communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams

This is a travel assignment based in Clovis, NM — a friendly, small-city hub with some neat regional flavor.
