Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in accordance with facility policies
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per protocol
• Monitor patient conditions, report changes promptly, and collaborate with the care team
• Support resident activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge care, ensuring smooth transitions
• Contribute to a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Maine or eligibility to obtain Maine licensure
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and the specific Mon/Fri schedule
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Strong clinical judgment, clear communication skills, and a team-first attitude

Education

• Practical Nursing diploma or certificate (LPN program) from an accredited school

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Basic wound care and monitoring of clinical changes
• Familiarity with long-term care or skilled nursing workflows
• Effective charting and electronic documentation skills
• Patient-focused communication and family support
• Time management for efficient overnight/extended shift coverage
