Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (schedule varies, as-needed), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Evening shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility support
Take and record vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care
Support a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents
Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (state-required credentials)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings
Comfortable working evening shifts and adapting to per diem scheduling
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
State-approved CNA training program completion and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of resident care and activities of daily living
Basic clinical skills: vital signs, safe transfers, infection control
Good documentation practices and attention to detail
Compassionate patient interaction and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to follow care plans and communicate observations clearly
