Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform screening mammography exams with precision and compassion
• Operate and maintain mammography equipment to produce high-quality images
• Ensure image quality assurance in accordance with ACR and MQSA standards
• Prioritize patient safety, comfort, and a positive experience during exams
• Document exams and maintain accurate records following regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support timely patient care
• Participate in quality assurance activities and continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

• ARRT certification with advanced mammography credentials (required)
• Washington State Radiologic Technologist license (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Experience with mammography quality assurance and ACR/MQSA standards
• Strong patient communication and comfort-focused skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of mammography equipment operation and safety
• Understanding of ACR and MQSA regulatory and quality standards
• Image quality assurance techniques and documentation best practices
• Skilled in patient positioning, radiation safety, and infection control
• Reliable clinical judgment and attention to detail
