Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to plan of care
Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
Document patient care, interventions and responses clearly and timely in the medical record
Collaborate with RNs, providers and support staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
Provide compassionate patient and family education and support
Assist with wound care, ADLs and other nursing procedures as required by the care plan
Participate in shift handoffs and communicate critical information to the next caregiver

Qualifications

Current LPN licensure in New Mexico (required)
CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
Ability to work scheduled Mon–Wed 7:00 AM–7:30 PM shifts reliably
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
Comfortable with charting and following facility protocols and policies

Education

LPN diploma, vocational nursing certificate, or equivalent practical nursing education

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational nursing assessment and documentation skills
Medication administration and safe handling practices
Basic wound care and ADL assistance
Effective communication with patients, families and clinical team members
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during long shifts
