Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts (total hours per shift: 8); specific start/end times and days not specified by the facility; 3 slots available

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility needs
Measure and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Document resident care accurately and timely in medical records
Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control and safety protocols
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to promote person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (per Pennsylvania requirements) — required
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and health screenings as required by the facility
Demonstrated compassion, reliability, and strong teamwork skills
CPR/BLS certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Comfortable with basic documentation and following care plans

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current state CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on resident care and assistance with ADLs
Vital sign measurement and basic clinical observation
Infection control practices and safe patient handling
Clear, respectful communication with residents and team members
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
Basic electronic or paper charting skills
