Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as scheduled), 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and safe positioning
Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
Document care accurately and maintain clear communication with caregivers and families
Support residents’ emotional well-being and encourage social engagement
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver excellent resident-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Comfortable and experienced working overnight/night shift assignments
Ability to pass facility background and health screenings as required
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but not mandatory

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Solid understanding of basic patient care and comfort measures
Proficient in assisting with ADLs and safe resident transfers
Familiarity with vital sign collection and basic documentation
Infection control awareness and adherence to facility policies
Good time management, teamwork, and compassionate interpersonal skills
