Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care following facility policies and nursing standards
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document changes in condition clearly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate quality care
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
• Assist with procedures, admissions, discharges, and safe patient transfers
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; additional certifications a plus
• Comfortable working day shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM) and flexible to accept per-diem assignments
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
• Clinical experience in acute care or rehab settings preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing or Registered Nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical reasoning skills
• Medication administration and IV/line familiarity where applicable
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during busy shifts
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient/family education and team collaboration
