Shift Type: Varied/per-diem schedule, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (night shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to geriatric residents, helping with activities of daily living
- Assist nursing staff with patient transfers, positioning, and mobility support
- Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to the clinical team promptly
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and resident interactions
- Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Build warm, trusting relationships with residents and their families
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (or state-equivalent certification) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfort working night shifts and adaptable to per-diem scheduling
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by facility
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach to care
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an approved GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic geriatric care principles and ADL assistance
- Skillful in safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Good observational skills to identify changes in condition
- Clear communication skills for collaborating with the care team and families
- Familiarity with documentation practices in a clinical setting
