Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert labor and delivery care across LDRP rooms and postpartum settings, supporting moms and families through birth and recovery
• Monitor fetal status using GE and OBIX electronic fetal monitoring and intervene per protocol
• Circulate in the OR for C-sections, collaborating smoothly with surgical techs and anesthesia teams
• Safely titrate pitocin and manage other drips per unit policies
• Perform neonatal resuscitation (NRP) when needed and coordinate newborn care with NICU/teams as appropriate
• Document thoroughly and accurately in EPIC to ensure continuity of care
• Float between L&D, Postpartum and Mother-Baby units as needed and participate in on-call coverage

Qualifications

• Active RN license (able to submit license — license to submit required)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (posting lists 2 years required)
• LDRP experience and couplet care experience (preferred/required per unit notes)
• Current ACLS, BLS and NRP certifications required
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required (experience with GE and OBIX EFM systems)
• Comfort circulating in the OR for C-sections and working alongside surgical techs
• EPIC charting experience
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, float per policy, and participate in call rotation

Education

• Active RN license required; BSN not required (BSN listed as not required in posting)

Knowledge & Skills

• Labor & Delivery workflows and postpartum/mother-baby care
• Fetal monitoring interpretation and intervention (GE, OBIX experience)
• Neonatal resuscitation (NRP) and basic newborn stabilization
• Medication titration (pitocin) and drip management
• Operating room circulation for obstetric surgeries
• AWHONN guidelines and patient ratio familiarity
• Strong clinical documentation in EPIC and teamwork across nursing roles
