Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to plan of care
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and clinical status with attention to detail
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent patient care
• Provide compassionate patient education and emotional support to patients and families
• Perform thorough documentation in the electronic medical record and communicate changes promptly
• Assist with basic wound care, ADLs, and care planning to support patient recovery
• Follow infection control and facility protocols to maintain a safe environment

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing (must be active and unrestricted)
• Minimum clinical experience as an LPN (travel positions typically prefer prior post-grad experience)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications welcomed
• Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements and background checks
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program
• Current LPN license required

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Comfortable with patient assessment and recognizing changes in condition
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
• Skilled at prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with diverse patients and care teams
